Shoot faster. Think less. Capture more. In this hands-on workshop, we'll dive deep into the timeless technique of zone focusing - a powerful tool that lets you pre-set your focus distance and shoot at the speed of life, without relying on autofocus. Whether you shoot with an analog camera, a digital camera and a manual lens, a Leica rangefinder, or simply want to become more intuitive in your street photography, zone focusing gives you speed, stealth, and clarity in unpredictable environments. We'll cover how it works, when to use it, and how to train your eye and instinct to trust the process. By the end, you'll walk away with a sharper understanding - literally and figuratively - of how to capture fleeting street moments with confidence and control. We'll cover theory, demo techniques, and then hit the streets for guided practice. This workshop is perfect for photographers who want to slow down in order to shoot faster. Let's get you in the zone.

Really great session. This was the second drawing class and it was really apparent how we are seeing progress and learning drawing skills. As absolute beginners, my daughter and I are gaining confidence and learning tips on how to produce works that look good and have depth and perspective. Lise is a kind and encouraging teacher who feeds nuggets of guidance in a way that shows immediate improvement and progress. The lessons learned are easily applied post course as we practice and continue to use our learned skills in new projects. Also, it?s just lovely to relax, feel well supported and learn in a warm and friendly environment. Lise is fantastic, we are loving the experience and will be attending more sessions for sure!
